More Information About Café Rouge
Café Rouge is a popular restaurant chain in the UK, famous for serving French style food. The company was founded in 1989, initially as a small restaurant chain. As the restaurants gained popularity, the owners decided to incorporate the chain into a large group, called the Pelican Group, which eventually sold to food and drink giant, Whitbread in 1996. Cafe Rouge gained notoriety towards the end of the 1990s when it was mentioned in Bridget Jones’s Diary. Since then, the company has invested heavily in refurbishing its outlets – it has also become a redemption partner on the Nectar loyalty scheme.
The company has around 120 locations across the country, with many in places like Leeds, London and Manchester. The name Café Rouge is synonymous with a high quality, casual dining experience – a range of different foods can be found on the menu, from light bites and baguettes through to larger meals. It doesn't matter if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat – or a big family meal – you’re sure to have a great time when you dine at your local restaurant.
